When we talk about the "Arturo" purifier without a chimney, it is necessary to specify that it is a treatment system and not just a single product.
For this reason, a series of objective variables, legal obligations, and necessary information must be taken into account.

Information
To install a kitchen in a location without a flue, it is necessary to obtain authorization from the AUSL
(Local Health Authority). This authorization consists of a special permit, which is granted only if specific technical and regulatory criteria are met.
According to European standard EN16798-2018, which has been transposed and applied in Italy, it is possible to discharge cooking fumes directly to the wall only if the emissions are properly treated and downgraded. Specifically, the process must reduce the emission classification from EHA4 (maximum emission) to EHA1 (minimum emission), ensuring an effective reduction of fumes, odors, and particulate pollutants. This reduction is essential not only to minimize environmental impact outside (outdoor air) but also to improve the quality of indoor air, preventing the accumulation of harmful substances inside the premises and ensuring a healthier working environment for operators.
To obtain the permit, the AUSL must verify that:

The “Arturo” purifier is a philosophy, a concept, that we use effectively, leveraging our twenty years of experience.
The Arturo purifier uses the effectiveness of its devices, the result of twenty years of experience, as the basis for treatment. Ozone, electrostatic filters, and activated carbon are technologies used for air treatment. Each of these technologies has a specific role in the air purification process, and they are often used together to achieve the highest level of purification.
Ozone is a gas used as a disinfectant and deodorizer. Ozone can react with volatile organic compounds (VOCs) present in the air, irreversibly destroying them. Ozone is very effective in removing odors and volatile organic compounds, but it can be harmful to human health if present in high concentrations. Therefore, ozone must be used with caution and only when necessary.
Electrostatic filters, as mentioned earlier, use an electrostatic charge to attract and retain particles present in the air, such as dust, smoke, and ash. These filters are particularly effective in removing particles smaller than 1 micron. Electrostatic filters do not use mechanical filtration but rely on the electrostatic charge to retain particles.
Activated carbon, on the other hand, is used to remove chemical contaminants present in the air, such as cigarette smoke, odors, and gases.
